COOLING WASH

PRODUCT INFORMATION 

A mixture of natural herbs that can be used to cool inflammatory skin conditions such as;

• Eczema
• Haemorrhoids
• Infected wounds
• Staph infections
• Bleeding cuts or wounds
• Herpes zoster (shingles) lesions

These herbs have been specially combined for their potent cooling properties as an alternative for over the counter, synthetic products.  Simply steep the herbs in warm water and apply depending on your condition.  

They can be placed in a sitz bath to bring a cooling steam the perennial area, providing relief from painful haemorrhoids or even the burning effects of cystitis.  

Pop them in a bowl to steam the face if suffering from an acne flair up.  Or boil the herbs and use the cooled water to apply to cold sores (herpes), psoriasis, eczema, wounds or other types of inflammatory skin conditions.

INGREDIENTS

• Goldenrod (Solidago virgaurea), used topically in traditional herbal medicine to reduce inflammation of haemorrhoids.
• Gotu kola (Centella asiatica), used for venous insufficiency or varicose veins. Gotu kola can interact with sedative medications.
• Yarrow (Achillea millefolium), popular in European folk medicine, this herb has traditionally been used to treat wounds and bleeding haemorrhoids.
• Witch hazel (Hamamelis virginiana), applied topically or used as a sitz bath, may temporarily shrink haemorrhoids and relive symptoms.
• Oak bark The high concentration of tannins in oak bark is thought to promote very strong astringent properties.
